Does The Helper Bees provide medical care?
No, the kinds of support available through The Helper Bees are strictly nonmedical. Neither our team members nor our network providers are able to administer medical care, offer medical advice, diagnose conditions, prescribe medications, or provide any other form of medical care.

We connect members to services like personal care, homemaking, companionship, caregiver support, meal delivery, home modifications, transportation, pest control, and more. "Aging in place" means continuing to live at home as you get older, instead of transitioning to a long-term care facility or any other kind of senior living community. Most older adults in the U.S. want to age in place, but they often need support to do so safely and comfortably. The Helper Bees specializes in solutions that make aging in place possible so more people can maintain their independence at home.

If you're the primary caregiver for a loved one, we encourage you to take advantage of support services that allow you to take breaks, relieve stress, and attend to other responsibilities.

What qualifications do I need to be a Helper Bees provider?

How do I manage and complete referrals?
If you’re accepted into our Provider Network, we’ll invite you to access homeAlign®, our referral management platform. Our team will provide training and support to make sure you’re comfortable using the system. Once your homeAlign® account is set up, you can accept referrals, manage documentation, view service details, and more all in one place.
What geographical areas does your Provider Network serve?
Our Provider Network spans the entire United States, and it's our goal to offer service coverage in as many geographical areas as we possibly can. No matter where in the country you're located, we may be able to use someone with your skills in our network.
Can I set my own prices?
The terms of joining our Provider Network include accepting rates established by The Helper Bees. That said, our rates are designed to be fair and competitive for all parties — we work hard to make sure our providers are appropriately compensated while continuing to deliver value to our members.
Is there a fee for network membership or getting referrals through The Helper Bees?
Joining our Provider Network is completely free, with no extra fees to receive referrals. If you join the network, you'll be asked to complete a Master Services Agreement that outlines expectations and responsibilities for both sides.
